Mudcloud had learned one thing from being a kit in his family, he had learned not to trust anyone. Though ThunderClan needed warriors now, more than anything. If they were attacked he might have to take on either at least a dozen cats at once, or take on one cat later one. And even though he liked the odds of having to take on a dozen cats. It was just something you didn't come from.. And although he didn't like it, he would have to work together with others if he wanted to live, if any of them did.
The mud color tom leaned down, his belly scraping the grass. Wondering if anyone would come to protect ThunderClan, make it strong again. Even if the past was blurry now, they still needed warriors. So he thought, now and again, slightly dozing off. He doubted it, there would be anyone coming. Even though it was a good thought to have. But he didn't care, honestly. He sighed, and moved closer to the edge, watching the blue skies above and beyond.

Black lightning struck through the forest, unknown to anything until she passed on by them. An Onyx she-cat, wonderfully lithe and small under her thick pelt, scanned the forest, Her Azure eyes not missing any movement. She stalked around hoping that she would maybe catch a mouse maybe a vole if she went by the river. She sighed inwardly, She would be lucky to find anything here now. Birds migrated south for the winter, leaving the forest silent. Mice and Voles burrowed into their warm holes, much like Azurestorm herself would like to do in her nice warm nest. Any squirrels were too skittish and lived in the holes that she couldn't reach. Leaf-bare was hard, ever the newest kit knew this, and for the young she-cat, this was her second hard winter of many more to came.
The snow hadn't fallen for a long time, though the white substance still littered the ground. And just as she though this day would be bright and warm up, the clouds darkened and congregated together. She looked up in disappointment,'Of course, just as I think of it, it comes....' She huffed softly, now moving on farther, her pelt would soon stick out against the whiteness. Its auburn undertone would be beautiful in the sun, but now, though it still sparkled with health that was relatively hard to come by in leafbare in any cat, much less a warrior, it was just dark like night. Her paw steps were light and made minimal noise on the crunchy and hardened snow.
As she came to a halt, resting her tired and stressed body, the white flakes fell down fluttering gracefully down. she turned her nose up closing her marred eyes and letting the flakes land on the angled features of her muzzle and snout. The cold touched delicately, making her shiver at the light touch, sending chills down her spine to her tail tip. Though The snow kept her calm and focused, she couldn't shake the feeling that someone was near. Though the feeling wasn't menacing, actually comforting, as if she was protected. She let the feeling linger before opening her eyes, pointing the now clear azure eyes she owned towards the bushes, Hoping to spot who was nearby

Sleep. It sounded good in leaf-bare. But now he needed to get food, not for warriors, only for kits, elders, and queens. He believed that if a cat is strong enough to survive by them self, they can hunt for themselves. It made them have good charisma among other warriors. Why? It showing you could do things yourself. The shifted slightly, shaking the patches of snow from his brown fur. Leaf-bare alright cold as ever. Though something got him edgy, only a little though. he could tell it was from his Clan, he hoped so at least.
Mudclouds paws dragged in the icy ground, his chest and belly getting covered in it. skies were dark, colorless, dull now. No beautiful day today. then that edgy feeling came back, it was somewhat closer. His hind up, paws reaching for a white stump. Gazing out, he saw a she-cat or he thought anyways. What do we have here? Seating himself down. The dark pelted tom watched the she-cat, she had the scent of ThunderClan. That made his edginess go away."Cold out today?" He called to her, steam coming from his breath. It would be good to talk to another cat.
