It's been a hard day's night... A lithe cream and white she-cat padded around the moonlit camp as her deep blue eyes surveyed her surroundings. Nothing seemed amiss. Not like anything could be amiss in her clan; she made sure that all of her clan mates were disciplined properly- a good warrior is a disciplined one, after all! Regardless of if this was a common sight or not, the she-cat nodded her approval. This was her clan and she should be proud of it. This she-cat was none other than Yewstar, proud, yet strict, leader of ShadowClan!
The day had been long and hard, and Yewstar had left camp to hunt/patrol several times since daybreak, but she felt as if she had fulfilled her duty to ShadowClan, and that was all that mattered to her. The leader felt like there were countless stones weighing her eyelids down, but there was one more thing that she needed to do before resting, and that was converse with her deputy. "Tigerlily," she mewed, "Meet me in my den, we need to discuss today's and tomorrow's patrols." With that, Yewstar padded to her den under an oak's roots and waited for Tigerlily to follow her.

A black tabby she cat blinked her tired eyes open, her green eyes shining, her face showing tiredness. She got up and stretched her legs out, and sat down, her tail curled around her paws neatly. When her leader stopped by her, she gave her full attention.
"Yes Yewstar." Tigerlily mewed, getting up and following her leader to her den. She looked around and saw most cats were sleeping. She toke a note of that and followed her leader to her den.

It's been a hard day's night... For a moment, Yewstar remained silent, looking from the she-cat who was her deputy to her moss bed. 'Duties first, sleep last,' she thought to herself irritably. She was a leader, not a kit! Kits had no duties other than to not stray from their mothers, while Yewstar was ShadowClan's leader. She had much more to do than most any cat in her clan. 'And they complain!' she continued, ranting in her head.
Bringing herself back to the duties at hand, Yewstar spoke. "Tigerlily, I need to know how the patrols went today, and who's scheduled for a patrol tomorrow," she meowed plainly. It was easy to tell that the tabby she-cat shared her wish of rest, but with the possibility of her one day leading ShadowClan, she needed to learn how to complete her duties before resting- not like she didn't do that already! Tigerlily was very responsible, which is why Yewstar chose her for deputy. Besides, they wouldn't be long.
...I should be sleepin' like a log... [/center]
