Welcome back, guys! Welcome HOME! For those coming here for the very first time: We are a semi-literate to literate, original Warrior clans site. Our roleplaying environment is based off of the popular book series by Erin Hunter. We welcome anyone who wishes to type in our URL, and strive to create a light-hearted atmosphere with old buddies, new friends, and plain old strangers. Feel free to swing by and drop an ad onto our advertising board or strike up a conversation in our chat-box. We'd love to have you here for as long as you would like to stay!
An enormous oak stands in the center of the camp. It leans slightly to the side from harsh winds, and has threatened to fall in storms putting ShadowClan's lives all at risk.
This oak has been here for a long time - longer than any cat can remember. Many scratches scour the tree, from past leaders who've used this as their den.
Past ShadowClan leader have always made their nest in the roots of the tree, but the current leader, prefers to sleep up in the branches rather than being in the open.
Two peculiar grey-white stones propped against each other creates a sheltered half-cave. This part of the ShadowClan camp also seems very, very old - rain has eaten away at the rock, giving it a bumpy texture and feel.
This is where the Medicine Cat does his work and treats his clanmates. There are holes dug in the ground to help keep leaves and berries fresh, and sick cats rest behind the two rocks in a fern den.
ShadowClan's warriors sleep under a bramble bush - may not seem very appealing to other clan-cats, but ShadowClan cats have been given the worst since the beginning of time.
Unappealing and prickly on the outside, but inside the Warrior's Den has the best nests - lines with moss and pine needles which is very soft and rewarding after a long night of stalking frogs.
A smooth flat stone is located by the Leader's Den, the huge leaning oak tree's lower branches almost touching the top of the stone. The apprentices sleep on and around this stone in moss nests, often quarreling over who sleeps where.
Most of ShadowClan's camp isn't very sheltered, so they are unlucky when it rains. The nursery however is big and sheltered. The queens make their nests in a hollow shielded by a thornbush. The kits of ShadowClan are normally the most adventurous and are big trouble makers. Keep a close eye on them!
ShadowClan warriors fight much more than other clan warriors do, and many of them don't live to be elders. They'd rather die in battle than rot in a den.
The Elder's Den is small because of this reason. It is at the back of the camp under a thorn bush. The ground under the thorn bush has been dug out to create a little earth-cave of sorts.
The ShadowClan camp is so inconspicious that most strangers probably couldn't find it. A tiny path leading through brambles leads to the camp entrance, which is a small bramble barrier.
Inside, it is dark and cool. The ground is cold and muddy, good for keeping fresh-kill but bad if you don't like mud on your paws.
A tall, steep stone with many indents engraved on it. This is where the leader of ShadowClan addresses his or her clan. The deputy may also be honored with this unique privilege. Only if the leader dies or the leader tells the deputy to do so.
