Across from the nursery and warriors den is the Medicine Den. The Medicine Den is located in a tangle of tree roots which reach towards the river. The ground here is cold and moist, but not muddy. Sick cats and the Medicine Cat sleep among the tree roots, herbs are kept in small little caves in the ground, so the kits can't scatter them when they run through chasing a butterfly or the occasional frog. Solareclipse padded into the Moonshadows den not feeling so well....."Moonshadow were are you!......I don't feel so....cough....cough....well." Solareclipse looked around and thought she saw a movement in the back of the den.
//Solareclipse has whitecough here But its very serious so it becomes Greencough she will stay ell for a while{until I come back}// she is a queen

A shadow did move in the back of the medicine cat cave. Light trickled into the cave, soft blue eyes gazed into the front of the cave. White paws touched the light, Moonshadow the medicine cat padded up to Solareclipse. The she-cats eyes filled with worry "Oh my! You sound terrible. By the sound of that dreadful cough.. it sounds like... Whitecough! How long have you been like this? Please lie down. Don't strain yourself." her voice was very kind. She nudged a soft pile of moss for the queen to lay down on. Thoughts of herb names raced through her mind, before she even began to examan the queen the shadow black cat hurried and got some of the scarce catmint she had. It was not very easy to find. Padding quickly back to the queen she placed it infront of Solareclipse. "Please dear, eat this. " Moonshadow knew that wasn't the only herb she would need to get this RiverClan cat back to full health. But it was a start, she didn't want the cough to get worse. But it sounded as if it was changing from White to green. Which is what most medicine cats fear. Keeping a calm mind, more herb names came into thought. "You need to stay relaxed." the medicine cat said as she waited for the queen to lay down so Moonshadow could figure out what else would be best for Solareclipse.

Solareclipse thanked her with a nodded before she began to cough again."I have had this cough for a while but its a good thing is whitecough or I wouldn't make it whe nthe kits would come!" she laughed and then........she caughta hint of worry! Could it be that she had.....Greencough! No, she told herself, you must relax you will make it through.......atleast so the babys are born......

Whisperingstar padded in," Moonsha-" Sha stopped, Solareclipse was in here and she was coughing horribly. She looked at Moonshadow worriedly for she knew that Solareclipse was coming to bear kits. She sighed and padded over to the young queen," Solareclipse, you need to stay here. You must keep still and rest for your kits lives." She licked the she-cats ear swiftly and mewed," Moonshadow, I need to talk with you when you are done. Meet me in my den." She turned and padded gracefuly out, back to her den.

As Solareclipse relaxed her blue eyes watched the queen's breathing. It was good that this feline had the ability to control her anxiety. A white paw patted the belly of Solareclipse, Moonshadow defently could tell there was kits to come. Then the shadow black feline's paws felt the raspy breathing from the coughs. The she-cats ears rotated as the sound of Whisperingstar echoed off of the cold moist ground that lay beneath the RiverClan cats. Then the medicine cat looked up at the leader, but her gaze did not stay on the tortoiseshell feline for long. Moonshadow's eyes drifted from the Queen to the small caves in the ground with herbs that lay at rest there.
As Whisperingstar spoke the black and white feline nodded "Alright, I'll be in there as soon as I get Solareclipse settled." her voice showed concern but it was reassuring that the medicine cat as confident that she could get this Queen back to health. As the slim leader of RiverClan padded out Moonshadow went to get some more herbs. 'If only I had some honey, but bees are finiky about water. Some Juniper Berries will help with regulated breathing and settle a bit of the cough. ' Moonshadow grabbed some Juniper berries, and also a small about of Tansy since the medicine cat knew it should be eated in small doses. "Your going to make it to have the kits and watch them grow up as long as StarClan is with me." her voice tired to comfort Solareclipse. Placing the herbs she had grabbed infront of the gold and black queen. "First I want you to eat the Tansy.." flicking her tail towards the strong smelling herb and then continued "Then eat some Juniper Berries this will help with any breathing problems that may occur. If I can find my apprentice I'm going to go see if he knows where any honey could be found." those were all the herbs that Moonshadow could think of for now that helped cure a cough. With one last nudge of the herbs with the soft white paws Moonshadow turned towards the entrance of her ten. "I'll be back as soon as I can, relax, and don't try to do anything crazy" her voice had a bit of humor in it. Then with one last nod and look to Solareclipse the medicine cat trotted off to see Whisperingstar.

Soalreclipse thanked her once agian with a nod. If any cat can heal me its Moonshadow! she said in her mind. She began to eat the herbs slow and then finished them with a swift gulp! She hated that she could not do anything for herself. ONce agian as she was about to fall asleep the terrible thoughts came to her again. THe thoughts of her kits dieing because the clan could not feed more mouths and the thoughts of her dieing before the kits were born. The thoughts were pushed out of her mind when a terrible cough made her throw up the herbs she had just ate and with that cough came blood but the blood did not scare her any more because she know it was her time to join Star Clan. SUddenly right after this thought came through a stab of pain was felt in her belly! She was about to have kits! Oh NO! No cat was their to help her!"Help somebady! Please help me! She yelled with all her mit! Her first baby was coming......and nobody was their to help her through!
Solareclipse know that she would die in atleast a moon or so.....I have to get the kits out of here!she thought there is no away Riverclan could feed another mouth....let alone 4! So its decicded that I will leave River clan to give my kits to Windclan!

Black ears flicked towards the entrance of the tangled tree roots that was the medicine cat den. Blue eyes as soft as a river gave color to the shadow that padded closer. A crescent shaped scar stretching across its left eye. Something was very different in the essence of the den, the light shown onto Moonshadow yet only to fade as she stepped into her den.
Her eyes grew wide, seeing first off the coughed up herbs but the queen with little bundles next to her. "Oh.. oh my. I'm so sorry I wasn't here. I should have stayed I bit longer." her voice whispered to the queen. Very quickly the black and white she-cat padded over to Solareclipse. The scar burning into the black fur, the medicine cat had grown up without any real parents. Death had come upon them, the blue eyes looked at the small kits examining them. They seemed perfectly fine. Moonshadow did have a bit more catmint, with a few more paw steps into the den she came back with some fresh herbs. Catmint and one or two more juniper berries, yet something worried Moonshadow. For some reason it felt as if Solareclipse wanted to go somewhere. Yet normally all queens wanted was rest. "You kits seem healthy, and so very cute." the medicine cat said with concern on her cough. Moonshadow nudged some clean herbs along with the catmint towards Solareclipse. Her eye caught blood amongst the herbs that had been coughed up. This cough didn't seemed to be getting better, and it almost seemed like it was very very close to becoming Greencough.
{It didn't seem like Solareclipse had left already to go to Windclan, also just a quick question is it your plan to have Solareclipse join starclan?}

Solareclipse turned head head slowly and looked into Moonshadow's knowing eyes."Moonshadow I must tell you something....................I will be leaving the clan with only to of my kits. The other two will stay in RiverCLan. Please do not change my mind about this I only tell you so that when the time is right......you will tell them." Solareclipse tunred and began to wash her two kits that were going to stay with Riverclan "Novakit and Sunkit will stay in Riverclan so that Every cat will know that Solareclipse was raised her but she was born in Windclan and there my girl kits, Neublakit and Lunakit, will grow up where I could not! Moonshadow will you help me carry my kit to Windclan!"

Whisperingstar stood at the entrence listening. She padded calmly into the den and mewed," Solareclipse, I will help you. I am not angry with you, it is your choice of where your kits grow up." She smiled warmly and picked up Lunakit," I will take care of Novakit and Sunkit. Since I am having kits as well."

Eyes clouded with a faint whisper of sorrow in them. With ever breath that curled around the air Moonshadow looked at each of the tiny kits. Her white paws feeling the ground beneath, soft meows washed over the roots with a echo. The words of Solareclipse flowed into the black feline ears, as the Medicine cat was about to speak blue eyes looked over to Whisperingstar. The leader was now going to be a queen also, Moonshadow wanted to help Solareclipse live to see the joy of the kits growing up. Yet there was only so much, and it looked like the sand in the queens hourglass was running out. She could not let emotions flood into her, a medicine cat has to keep a calm mind in times like this. Taking in a breath each sent came upon Moonshadow.
Shadows began dancing into the cave even more. It would be dark in a while, the sun still blazed its light outside. The medicine cat looked at both Solareclipse and Whisperingstar, and she would respect the ill queen's request. "This is your decision, even though I did not grow up with my birth parents I will be as like a guardian to these two kits. Making sure they stay as healthy as they can. The ways of the Medicine cat forbids me from having kits or a mate, yet that does not mean I can aid queens with advice and herbs that would be best for them. Whisperingstar I know you will make a fine mother not only to these kits but to your own. If you should need anyone to talk to or help you cope I'm here. I don't mind kit sitting." she said with a bit humor in the last sentence. Now looking at Novakit and Sunkit her eyes washed over them like a lily pad on a river. "Solareclipse may Starclan guide you forever more. While you two go off to the plain where WindClan resides I will look after Novakit and Sunkit. But Solareclipse.." the medicine cats voice trailed and she did not know whether or not to speak the question that lay upon her mind. But this must be asked "Where do you wish to spend your final moments before another star arises on silverpelt? " said Moonshadow finally knowing that the travel to WindClan would be a bit tiring.

Soalreclipse was amazed that Whiperingstar would agree. She turned to grab Neublakit and sat her down in the entrance"I would love to be in the clan that I was born in. THat is where my ancesters have lived and died, and where I will spend my final moments at. Thank you both. Icould not do this without your help. Please Moonshadow, after Whipseringstar has returned tell my step-sister Atumnleaf what has happened here before you tell the rest of the clan. Come on Whisperingstar we must make it there before night fall." picking up Neublakit she began to head out of the camp........

"Moonshadow?", an orange tom asked, peeking into the den. Then he walked in, seeing as she didn't seem busy. His pelt had been wet awhile ago, but the greenleaf sun had already mostly dried it. The warrior seemed a little stiff as he walked. "I got into a little fight with a loner, but it was just a misunderstanding ... My shoulder really hurts now though" Stormrunner had surprised him, knocked him off the smaller loner, and caused his shoulder to hit a rock that'd been in the shallows of the river. It wasn't broken, out of socket, or bleeding... Just sore.
[This takes place after all the post before this] __________________________________________________________________________ Blindfall padded into the Medicine Cats den, herbs filling her cream maw. Her ears were twitching every way. Her orange and cream tail touched the wall, feeling her way to her herb storage. blindfall stopped as her tail brushed up against a leaf filled with Poppy. "Here we are." She murmered under her breath. She sorted out her herbs, using only her nose to find where they need to be. Being blind isn't that easy.
