Fangscar followed behind them, just close enough to see the foxes tail flagging ahead. The Big Pine was in the distance. Ravenpaw, only a little farther, he thought, Take that fox high in that tree!.

Ravenpaw sprinted through the Pine trees, the large lump of the Rabbit still hanging from his mouth. The Fox was on his tail, trying to grab the small apprentice. There it is! The Tall Pine came into view. He clawed his way up. The fox was confused, banging his head into the tree. The fox shook his head and barked up at Ravenpaw. "You want this, you filthy mutt?" Ravenpaw mewed, his mouth watering at the scent and flavor of the Rabbit. He shook the branch closest to the Fox's head, whipping it. The Fox jumped back, whimpering in pain. "It's not working!" Ravenpaw mewed, setting the Rabbit to the branch above him.

Fangscar had a back-up plan. He ran up behind the fox and scrached it's haunches." MRAIAOWR!!!" he screeched behind it, scaring it up the tree. " Now, Ravenpaw!" he shouted, grabbing the foxes tail to add extra weight so it would definantly fall. The fox dragged him higher and Ravenpaw pulled a branch and let it go, thwacking the fox in the face. The fox yelped, jumping and letting go of the tree. Fangscar quickly let go, landing on top of the fox. It lay on it's back, a thin trail of blood oozing from it's mouth. He smiled at Ravenpaw. " Great job Ravenpaw! When it's time for you to get your warrior name, I'll see if Emberstar will give you the name Ravenspirit!" he meowed proudly. "I wish I had an apprentice like you."

( Ruin my fun ><) Fangscar flicked his ear and padded through the forest. He turned his head to see Ravenpaw a bit farther behind him. "Y'know, that was a really brave thing you did back there." his deep voice rumbled, almost a growl.

Ravenpaw sprinted after Fangscar. "Really?" He mewed, a little confused by the other cat's almost growl. His black tail flicked about. He held his head a little high, but not too high, for he wasn't the proudest cat in Shadowclan.
